Hi. I'm Brianne. But you can call me Bri. I'm a 26 year old college grad who still doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up. Right now I work at a local bar in downtown Chattanooga; which was supposed to be one of those transition jobs. You know the type; you take the job right out of college cause you don't know what you want to do. You work for awhile, go back to school, and get that "big girl/boy" job. Well, that was almost 4 years ago. Man, time flies. Either way, I actually like what I do...for the most part. And I do intend on going back to school. One day. Enough about that though. I'm also a newly wed. This is Josh.
He works at a beautiful mountain golf course as the bar manager of the men's grill. He just recently made the transition from being a bartender at a karaoke bar to this. This was after a brief encounter as customer service rep for a local company that deals with DirectTV. He hated it. Like really really hated it. But this new job, this one he loves. Hours are better (getting home around 9pm most nights rather than 4am) and by far a much better clientele as compared to the "normal bar scene" and the cranky customers who are upset over a bill typo or cable outage.
Josh and I met back in 2007 and it was love at first sight. We both happen to be out on the town with friends when we randomly started chatting with each other. Next thing I know, he buys me a drink, and we exchange numbers. Three years later we are engaged, and a year after that we were husband and wife. We got married November 5, 2011. It was a beautiful fall wedding that we planned all ourselves. From making invitations to decorating the reception space, and even making mini pies as party favors...we did it all. It was absolutely beautiful and the happiest day of our lives.
Now we just spend our days working, living, laughing, and loving. We dream of a day when our lives are a little more "normal" (i.e. I don't work crazy hours/days), a day when we can travel, own a home, and have a little family. We constantly laugh and rarely fight. Josh constantly puts up with my creative, insane thoughts and ideas, as well as my OCD and ADD....a very bad combination. And here is where you all will get to share in all the laughter, tears, and love with us. Enjoy!
