Meet our new lil pumpkin, Roxie Star.
Let's get to know her a lil bit:
*She is a purebred Husky puppy.
*Just celebrated her 7 week birthday last Friday.
*Big, beautiful blue eyes.
*Her fur is already starting to get a nice blend of grey and white...with a huge grey streak down the center of her back.
*Her favorite things include, but are not limited to:
-eating
-sleeping
- playing, non stop. either with the massive amount of toys in the house, or her sister.
-annoying her sister when Lola doesn't feel like playing.
-exploring the great unknown, aka the backyard
-snuggling
-bath time
Let's be honest, she's a puppy, this list could go on and on, she loves everything.
*At her last vet visit, she already weighed 9 lbs, we're estimating a happy, healthy 40+ lb puppy when she is full grown.
*She is actually really good about her potty training, very rarely has accidents inside, unfortunately, I can't say the same about sleeping all night. But we will get there.
Now, let's look at some pictures of this adorable lil princess. (Lola of course will be thrown in there too, she is the Queen Bee after all.)

Our First Anniversary
Can you believe it's already been a year since Josh and I became Mr&Mrs??? I know, it's flown by. And what a year it has been. We got to go to Jamaica...Josh got a new job...we bought a house (and that's just to name off a few things). All the while having fun every...well almost...every step of the way. He is my best friend and I am so very lucky to be able to spend and share my life with him. So what did we do to celebrate our first year?? Weeell....
Sunday we woke up early...like 9:30 am early...totally abnormal for our household; especially since I worked the night before. After laying around for awhile, we got up, made some breakfast and coffee, and got ready for a day of shopping. We started off at Factory Direct Furniture to look for a couch for Josh's "man cave". Which I am slowly trying to piece together into a very nice room thatwe he can enjoy with friends. We found a great one at great price and quickly snagged it. Then we were off to the mall where Josh bought me an anniversary band for my wedding set.
Then, I had a little surprise for my dear sweet husband. For the past few months, he has been dying for a puppy. A husky puppy to be more specific. So, after scouring the web, and newspaper...I finally found a litter that was both affordable and near by. The downside, he was kinda wanting a little boy, and by the time I called the ad...she only had 2 little girls left. So, I told him about it, and left it up to him. Within an hour we were in the car heading to pick up the new baby. (Josh had also surprised me with a gift, a brand new Coach purse.)
Yes, we went a little overboard, especially with Christmas just around the corner; but hey, you only celebrate your first anniversary once, right? Yeah. That's what I thought, too. haha.
Monday was our actual anniversary and since we had been on the go all day Sunday, we just hung around the house, cooked at home, and caught up on our TV shows. We also broke out some champagne and our frozen wedding cakes. Which, with the exception of Josh's groom's cake...the cake was really still quite delicious.
Well, my friends...that's it. Our little anniversary story. Not too crazy, but still a very special memory for us. Here's to the next year, and many more to come.

November Goals
Now that we are in our new home, I figured that it's time to get back to my our goals. Hopefully we can get a lot done this month, but with the holidays just right around the corner, I'm a little skeptical. But, my fingers are crossed! (And maybe my toes, hehe).
*Read 2 books
*Limit of 2 fast food days
*Celebrate our 1 year anniversary
*Celebrate Thanksgiving
*Lunch with 2 friends
*Football night with friends
*Re-do dining room chairs, finally
*Make a kitchen chalk board
*Find paint colors for the house
*List of house wants/needs
*Organize/clean out clothes
*Work on Josh's man cave
*Weekly grocery shopping
*Meal planning
*Christmas shopping list
*Save 25% of weekly earnings
Yeah, I think I'm definitely needing to cross my toes on this list. Should be a fun month around 805!
