March, how'd I do???

March was a pretty productive month for us here the the Landis/O'Dell household. Let's take a look:

FUN:

--Finish book and start/ finish another. CHECK! I did in fact finish one, and start another. I may only be 6 chapters into it, but it is started!!!

--Have cook out with friends. FAIL Right when I wanted to is, of course, when all the rain and cold weather came. Postponed til April. Or whenever it is nice and warm again.

DIY:

--Make new wreathes for my doors. ALMOST DONE. I did redo my wreath on my front door, it's a wicker wreath so I added some new flowers to it. And the ones I was going to do for the bedroom doors, I'm still undecided about.

HOME:

--Keep up with chores. CHECK! I even have a handy-dandy chart to mark off when things get done. (Yes, like when we were all kids. It even hangs on the frig.)

--Put away winter clothes. FAIL. Although I'm really glad it didn't get done; since it cold again. So maybe not so much of a fail??

--Reorganize closets. FAIL.

--Get recycle organized and taken care of. ALMOST DONE. It is organized, just not taken care of.

HEALTH:

--Keep drinking water. CHECK!

-- Use the Wii Fit. FAIL. FAIL. And DOUBLE FAIL! I don't wanna talk about it.

-- Go on walks. FAIL. It just got too cold, duh!

WEDDING:

--Buy invitation stuff. FAIL. The stuff was not on sale yet. Gotta get the good deals, of course!

--Go to Bradley Florists. FAIL.

-- Apply for passports. FAIL.

-- Catch up on planning. CHECK! I re-figured what needs to get done in what months so we are still right on schedule.

-- Book venues (Drum roll, please) CHECK!!!! Yes, you heard me. We have booked our venues!!!! (About time, right?) The ceremony is going to be held at Signal Crest United Methodist (where I grew up) and our reception will be following in the Downtown Marriott's Grand Ballroom. We are super excited and now all the fun details can start to get worked out!

So, my friends, March was actually quite productive. There is a fair amount of red on my list, but when I look at the things that have green next to them, it's some big accomplishments, and it makes me smile. I can't wait to see what April has in store for us!!
